Usuky is a brand of scissors and accessories at the cutting edge of Japanese know-how. It specializes in the creation and sale of scissors for hairdressing professionals.
Challenge
Imagine an original and creative brand universe, including a new positioning and a more current visual identity. Create an online sales website and adapt the brand's communication tools in accordance with its new universe.
Solution
Several aspects of the project refer to the Japanese origin of the brand: the sound of the name, the calligraphic-inspired typography of the logo, the resulting symbol refers to kanji (we can also see a cut lock of hair, represented graphically and pictorially). To contrast with the cold, metallic look of the scissors, warmer shades reminiscent of earth and plants were chosen to dress the brand. In order to bring lightness and highlight the handling of the products, dynamic and fun displays have been imagined. They give the impression of seeing the products in motion.
